Pixel art is interesting, but annoying. First we had to recreate a fire hydrant using a reference image. The way I did it was that I zoomed right into the original image and I counted the pixels and tried to make it exactly the same. It didn't work on some places, but it did on most, so I'm pretty happy with the result.
HOMEWORK:
- I did some designs on paper for the robots, but when I started doing the pixels...I just gave up from any designs I had in mind, I didn't care, as long as I get could done with those pixels soon. @A@
And that's what I ended up with. I really don't like the small one, but I think the big one turned out pretty alright.
The image below is how everything fits into the scene we were given.
